The Youth Development Unit of the City of Greater Geelong is committed to listening to, understanding and valuing young people and the contribution they make to their communities.

We believe that young people need access to a broad range of information so that they can make informed choices about their needs [SourceIT] .

Our unit undertakes consultation with young people on a broad range of issues and has undertaken two formal youth needs studies that have highlighted how important young people's participation is in letting us know about what they need and how they would like to be involved in the solutions.
